Alangudi is a place in India state of Tamil Nadu located at the longitude of 79.410499 and the latitude of 10.829976.

Festival : As on 2011/05/08 thousand of people thronged Sri Apathsahayeswaraswamy Temple, the Navagraha Kshetra for Guru Bhagawan at Alangudi in Tiruvarur on the occasion of ‘Guru Peyarchi' on Sunday. Abishekams were performed to Guru Bhagawan (Dakshinamurthy) located on the southern side of the temple. Aarthis were performed during the time of transit. Various departments done thier duties as usual. Laksharchanai will be performed at the temple on May 19 and Parihara homams will be held from May 20 to May 22.
