Advertisement : KANNAMANGALAM - Now it is a place of getting route for Vellore and Thiruvannamalai. Kannamangala Higher Secondary School, in olden days, it was Govt.High School, Kannamangalam. Three decades ago, the high school was famous around the villages. Students who used come to School by walk - even 8 - 6 Km around the villages. There was no nearest School for them - except Onnupuram Govt.High School. I am proudly say that Most of Officers - they may be Central or State Govt.and Banks and other Enginners and Doctors, came from Govt.High School, Kannamangalam. I was a Student of Kannamangalam High School in the year 1967 - 71 and nominated as Deputy School Pupil Leader in the year 1970-71. I learned that how to adjust the society in future - I studied about the people and society - and good leadership. Later I become as Dramatist - Script writer - Actor and Director of many Tamil Plays - they were stage in Bangalore and other Public Sector Organizations. My script was selected a Best Script at Bangalore Tamil Sangam Play Competition in the year 1982. Our Team was presented a Tamil Play at South Indian Fine Arts Association, Chennai. Because of Tamil I studied at Kannamangalam High School, I learned and wrote in Tamil Plays and secured better in the name the society as a ' Tamil Script Writer ' in Bangalore. Later, I had been enrolled in Central Govt.service, the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, International level research Institute in Bangalore. Now, I am a Sr.Office Supdt., at IIA. Because, I studied at Kannamangalam High School. I would like to say my heartiest thanks my Teacher, Mr.Perumal and others who gave and taught me a good quality of character and education and ever forgotten my close friends who studied with me at the time. Thanks my High School, Kannamangalam.
